  • Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
  • Ask yourself: "Where do I feel this in my body right now?" 
  • Notice: is it tight, heavy, buzzing, hollow, or numb?
  • Put your hand on that place.
  • Take 5 slow breaths with your hand resting there — not trying to change anything, just making contact.

Your body is already processing what your mind can't sort yet. Let it.

Why:

When too many emotions are competing, the mind gets noisy and unhelpful. The body is quieter and more honest. Starting here bypasses the mental noise and gives you something real to work with.
